Prijateljica, ki se je preselila v ZDA, mi je pripravila veliko presenečenje, ko je objavila naslednjo zgodbo na spletni strani, kjer si ljudje med seboj pomagajo s spodbudnimi besedami, nasveti itd. kako odpraviti odvečne kilograme.

I used to have a friend - a childhood buddy - a boy. We grew up together since before we were kindergarteners. His sister and I were best friends (still are, only oceans apart). People often thought he and I were siblings. We looked alike - same brown hair, chubby cheeks… We were both fat kids. We both grew up to become fat adults. I moved overseas and we kept in touch via e mail ...ever so often. In my early/mid twenties I had some major success losing weight. So did he. Then I gained ALL back. He hasn’t.

He went on and turned his life around. His passion for computers and TV turned into a passion for healthy eating and sports. He pursued certifications/diploma in fitness training and conditioning. These days he is a trainer, fitness instructor, life coach, nutritionist… He looks amazing!!! I was looking at his pictures on his website and… was simply amazed. And so PROUD! He did it! The right way! A life style change!
